So Murasaki has been taken away and Shinkurou is left to wallow in his own defeat. Much of this episode revolves around the emotional struggles the characters are facing after the tragic event. We get a peek into Yayoi’s past: her failed mission that resulted in the death of her client. I also get the feeling from this episode that Murasaki’s father might not be that bad of a guy at all. It seemed to me that he wanted to keep her out of the Inner Sanctuary for as long as possible, and also has some disdain towards his father and the family in general. I think he will play a very key part towards what I’m hoping to be a “happy” ending. Shinkurou literally demands that he be allowed to go to the Kuhouins to see Murasaki one last time, and with much reluctance, Benika agrees. Two episodes left…
