This episode picks up with Murasaki tailing Shinkurou, who is being tailed by Yayoi. Reminds me of the stalker bits from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, hehe. Anyways Shinkurou was sent to settle a case where some business was blackmailing a Kindergarten owner into selling his building away. Murasaki shows up and causes a whole mess of problems, but we finally get to see the mystery behind Shinkurou’s power. He has a horn in his arm, from the Hozuki training, that looks pretty fucking sweet: the thing can deflect bullets! We also get a glimpse at his past. Something along the lines of his home being bombed and the children taken hostage. He is willing to die when Benika shows up and kicks some ass, and he forever looked up to her. Another interesting bit we learn is that Benika had done jobs for the Kuhouins before, and taking Murasaki out of the Inner Sanctuary was a request from her mother. She put Shinkurou in charge of protecting her because they have similar stories, and it will help him become stronger. And once again I  am left with a smile by Murasaki’s curiosity and youthful spirit.
